  • 1/2 cup blue raspberry syrup adjust sweetness to taste
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed preferred

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Place the ice cubes into the blender.
  2. Add the blue raspberry syrup and lemon juice to the blender.
  3. Pulse the blender a few times to start crushing the ice, then blend on high until the mixture is smooth and slushy, about 30-45 seconds.
  4. Stop the blender and check the texture; it should be thick, icy, and scoopable, with a vibrant blue color.
  5. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of cold water or more lemon juice and pulse briefly to loosen it.
  6. Scoop the slushie into glasses, and serve immediately with colorful straws or garnishes if desired.

Notes

For a frosty texture, ensure the ice is well frozen beforehand. You can also adjust sweetness by varying the amount of syrup or citrus. This slushie is best enjoyed immediately for the perfect icy consistency.
