- Pour the cooled brewed coffee into the blender jar.
- Add the granulated sugar to the coffee and blend briefly until the sugar dissolves completely, about 10 seconds.
- Pour in the cold milk and add the vanilla extract if using, then blend for another 10 seconds until well combined.
- Add the ice cubes to the blender and secure the lid tightly.
- Blend the mixture on high speed for 30-60 seconds until the ice is fully crushed, and the mixture is smooth and frosty.
- Stop the blender and check the texture; if it’s too thick, add a splash more milk and blend briefly to loosen it.
- Pour the coffee slushie into chilled glasses and serve immediately, garnished with a straw or a sprinkle of cocoa if desired.
Notes
For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso or add a shot of instant coffee. Adjust sweetness to your preference by varying the amount of sugar.
