- Add sour cherries, simple syrup, and lemon juice to your blender.
- Blend on high until the cherries break down and the mixture is smooth with a bright red color, smelling tart and sweet.
- Add ice cubes to the blender and secure the lid tightly.
- Pulse or blend on high until the mixture is thick, slushy, and reaches your desired icy consistency, about 30-60 seconds.
- Pour the slushie into glasses, using a spoon to help fill them if needed, and garnish with fresh mint leaves for a burst of aroma.
- Serve immediately with a straw, enjoying the vibrant color and refreshing tart-sweet flavor.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of bourbon or a few fresh berries before blending. Adjust sweetness with more or less simple syrup to taste.
