Ingredients

  • 1 packet Kool Aid powder any flavor of your choice
  • 1 cup cold water to dissolve the powder
  • 2-3 cups ice cubes crushed or whole, depending on blender

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups

Method

  1. Pour the Kool Aid powder into your blender.
  2. Add the cold water to the blender with the Kool Aid powder.
  3. Secure the lid and blend the mixture on low speed for about 15 seconds until the powder is fully dissolved and the liquid turns vibrant.
  4. Add the ice cubes to the blender, making sure they’re evenly distributed.
  5. Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds, stopping occasionally to check the consistency—look for a thick, slushy texture that flows easily when stirred.
  6. Turn off the blender and give the slushie a quick stir; if it’s still too liquid, add a few more ice cubes and blend briefly until you reach the desired icy texture.
  7. Pour the colorful Kool Aid slushie into glasses, and enjoy immediately for the best icy sensation.

Notes

For extra fun, add small edible glitter or a slice of fruit on top. Use different Kool Aid flavors to create layered or multi-colored slushies.
