- Add the frozen mango chunks to your blender bowl. They should be slightly frosty and fragrant with tropical aroma.
- Pour in the lime juice over the mango, giving the mixture a bright, citrusy scent.
- Add the fresh mint leaves to the blender, gently bruising them if desired to release more aroma.
- Toss in the ice cubes, which will help create a super icy, slushie texture. Secure the lid on the blender.
- Blend the mixture on high speed, listening for a gentle whirling sound. Blend until the ice is finely crushed and the mixture looks thick and icy, about 30-45 seconds.
- Stop the blender and carefully open the lid. Check the consistency; if it's too watery, add a few more ice cubes and blend briefly again.
- Pour the slushie into chilled glasses, letting the icy mixture gently settle and fill the cup with a vibrant orange hue and specks of green from the mint.
- Garnish with extra mint leaves if desired, and serve immediately to enjoy its icy, fruity brightness.
Notes
For an extra burst of flavor, add a splash of coconut water or a sprinkle of chili powder for a spicy kick. Adjust the ice to achieve your preferred slushie consistency. Using very ripe mangoes will yield the sweetest, most flavorful results.
