Ingredients

  • 4 cups fruit punch store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups grape or berry juice for dark color and tartness
  • 2 cups Sprite or lemon-lime soda adds fizz and lift
  • a handful gummy worms for spooky garnish
  • a handful candy eyeballs for creepy flair
  • 1-2 cups frozen fruits berries, pineapple chunks, etc.

Equipment

  • Large punch bowl
  • Long spoon or ladle
  • Measuring cups
  • Knives for garnishing

Method

  1. Pour the fruit punch into a large punch bowl, filling it about halfway.
  2. Add the grape or berry juice to the punch, pouring it gently to help create a swirling, dark, ghoulish color.
  3. Slowly pour the soda into the mixture, stirring gently with a long spoon to keep the bubbles lively and integrate the flavors.
  4. Chop up some frozen fruits like berries or pineapple chunks and toss them into the punch. They will float and add pops of color as they chill the drink.
  5. Garnish the punch with gummy worms by threading some on the rim or letting them sink, and drop in a few candy eyeballs for spooky fun.
  6. Add ice or more frozen fruits on top to keep the punch cold and colorful, ensuring it stays bubbly and vibrant.
  7. Let the punch sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the colors to settle. Serve immediately with a ladle, making sure each glass gets a splash of the chaotic, colorful mixture.
