Method
- Measure out the milk and pour it into a mixing bowl or a sealable jar.
- Add the vanilla bean paste to the milk, letting its aromatic scent fill the air as you stir gently.
- Stir in the sugar until it dissolves completely, creating a smooth, sweet vanilla base.
- If using a jar, seal it tightly; if using a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap.
- Place the mixture in the freezer and allow it to chill for at least 2 hours, stirring or shaking every 30 minutes to prevent ice crystals from forming large clumps.
- Once the mixture looks thickened and slushy with small ice crystals, give it a final stir to incorporate any frozen bits and achieve an even, velvety texture.
- Scoop the vanilla slushie into chilled glasses, uncover, and serve immediately to enjoy its creamy, icy texture and inviting vanilla aroma.
Notes
You can add a splash of milk or a few extra ice cubes if the mixture is too thick. For a more intense vanilla flavor, increase the vanilla bean paste. For an even creamier texture, blend with a frozen banana or a dollop of whipped cream before serving.
